Kerry County Council assessing 16 submissions in bid to tackle housing supply issue

Kerry County Council is assessing 16 submissions in a bid to tackle the housing supply issue.
Last July, the Government published its Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness, the main aim of which is to significantly boost the housing supply, increase and speed up the delivery of social housing, boost private housing, and improve the rental market.
Kerry County Council advertised seeking suitable projects and proposals to deliver this plan.
They received 16 submissions which are currently being assessed, and it’ll be a number of months before the council decides whether to buy these units.
