Kerry County Council agrees to sell 94 properties through Tenant Purchase Scheme

Kerry County Council has agreed to sell 94 properties through the Tenant Purchase Scheme.

A total of 233 applications have been made to date by local authority tenants to buy their council house.

As well as agreeing to sell 94 homes provided required documentation is in order, the council refused to sell 11 for the long-term management of their housing stock.

A further 87 applications didn’t qualify for the scheme; 36 requests require further information, and another five applications are to be checked before a decision is made.
