Kerry councillor says public shouldn’t be bullied out of amenities due to anti-social behaviour

A Kerry councillor says the public shouldn’t be bullied out of local amenities because people are engaging in anti-social behaviour.

Fianna Fáil councillor Norma Foley was speaking following complaints relating to upgrade works which will enlarge the playground at Tralee Town Park by 15%.

Some members of the public expressed concerns that this will give those engaging in anti-social conduct, including drug use, more space to engage in their behaviour.

Cllr Norma Foley says these works are being carried out to make the playground accessible to people of all abilities.
