Kerry councillor claims health forum system isn’t working

A Kerry councillor claims the health forum system isn’t working.

Damian Quigg, who’s member of the HSE South Health Forum, was speaking after University Hospital Kerry was found not fully compliant with the majority of Medical Council training standards for junior doctors.

Cllr Quigg says he and two other councillors on the forum have been looking for a meeting with the Health Minister Simon Harris for 15 months, to no avail.

The Sinn Féin councillor feels they’re not being listened to.
