Kerry and Cork join forces in US tourism and trade promotion

Kerry and Cork have joined forces to promote tourism and trade in the United States.

Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Brendan Griffin led the 20-strong delegation to Providence, Rhode Island over the weekend.

The trip was promoting the new Norwegian Airways flight from Cork to Providence, which is located between New York and Boston.

The group included the Cathaoirleach of Kerry County Council Cllr John Sheahan and the Council’s tourism officer, John Griffin.

A return trip by Rhode Island tourism and business leaders to Cork and Kerry is expected in September.
