Kerry businessman in Australia says towns without food as fires rage out of control

A Kerry businessman based in Australia says they’re bracing themselves for catastropic condtions tomorrow as bush fires rage across two states.

Tom Kelliher from Beaufort, who runs a construction firm in New South Wales, says they’ve been warned that it will be 35 degrees tomorrow with 80 kilometer an hour winds.

More than a hundred and twenty fires are burning in New South Wales and Queensland, 40 of those are out of control.

Three people have already died, and more than 150 homes have been razed.

Tom Kelliher says some towns have been cut off by fires and people are now running out of food.
