Kerry Airport to receive over 1.2 million euro in funding.

Over 1.22 million euro in capital funding has been announced for Kerry Airport.

The funding, announced by Kerry Deputy, Brendan Griffin, will be used to improve facilities at the airport, including the roof of a fire station, runway lighting, security scanner and explosives detector.

Deputy Griffin said the funding will assist the overall viability of Kerry Airport which provides critical access in and out of Kerry and is crucial to the economy of the area.
