The opening game of the day there will be the Round 2B football qualifier between Tipperary and Louth, which throws-in at 2:45. After that, the action switches to hurling, with a qualifier double-header at Semple. Dublin will face Limerick in the opening Round 2 qualifier from 5, before the all-Munster clash of Cork and Clare, which will get underway at 7 o’clock. Former Tipperary All Ireland winning captain Eoin Kelly believes that Clare’s firepower will be too much for the Cork defence tonight [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/42542/medium/”] The rest of today’s Qualifier action is in football. The first of the Round 2B match-ups is in Owenbeg, where Derry will play host to Wexford from 2. There’s also a potentially fascinating match-up between Tyrone and Meath at Healy Park in Omagh, where they’ll get going at 3. There’s also one game in Round 3A of the All-Ireland Qualifiers as Longford go up against Kildare at Cusack Park in Mullingar from 7. There’s also more action in this afternoon in the Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship. In Group 1, Cork will face Offaly at Pairc Ui Rinn, where throw-in is at 2, while Wexford play host to Galway from 3:45. In Group 2, there’s also a 2 o’clock start in Newmarket on Fergus, where Clare are going-up against Dublin. And there’s a half-past two throw-in between Kilkenny and Tipperary in Freshford.
