The jury in the trial of a man facing five assault charges has finished their deliberations in Tralee Circuit Court.
30-year-old Damien Fealy of no fixed abode had pleaded not guilty to seven charges; it was alleged he committed five assaults on Vanessa Begley at locations in both Tralee and Killarney between March of 2018 and January of this year.
He also faced charges of producing a knife during two of the alleged assaults.
In the past few minutes, the jury of seven men and five women came to unanimous verdicts on all seven charges.
After deliberating for one hour and fifteen minutes, they have found Damien Fealy guilty of four assault causing harm offences and one production of a weapon offence at locations in both Tralee and Killarney between March 2018 and January 2019.
He was found not guilty on one assault causing harm offence and one production of a weapon offence.
