Jared Payne Out Of World Cup

Jared Payne is out of the World Cup. The Ulster centre has a fracture to the foot, and will take no further part in the tournament. The Irish medical team say Payne was suffering continued discomfort following full-contact training on Wednesday. No decision on a replacement will be made until after tomorrow’s game with France. The All Blacks have injury worries of their own. Prop Tony Woodcock has been ruled out of the tournament with a hamstring injury suffered in last night’s win over Tonga. Crusaders’ Joe Moody has been called in as a replacement.
