Jared Payne And Joey Carbery Return To Ireland’s 6 Nations Squad

The Ireland Coaching Group have named a 37 man squad for the final two rounds of the RBS 6 Nations Championship.

Ireland travel to Cardiff in Round 4 to take on Wales at the Principality Stadium on Friday 9th March before hosting England on Saturday 18th March at the Aviva Stadium.

Jared Payne makes a welcome return to the squad for the first time since he picked up an injury against Australia in the Guinness Series last November.

The 37 man squad also sees the return of Joey Carbery who also featured for Ireland in that game.

Another player named is Ultan Dillane – the Tralee man was originally omitted from the squad list, but it’s now been confirmed by the IRFU the 23 year old is among the players included.
