ISPCA criticises practice of dying animals for All Ireland final

43 complaints have been registered with the Kerry branch of the ISPCA complaining about the practice of dying animals coats in support of the county team ahead of Sundays All Ireland. In Beaufort one farmer has dyed his two cows, thirty ducks, 10 sheep, three goats and several geese in green and gold. The KSPCA says the majority of the complaints were from people living in urban areas. While the practice has been deemed perfectly safe by the KSPCA, Eileen Lynam from Dublin says she is horrified at what is being done to the animals. Brendan O Connor, the farmer from Beaufort, says he thinks that Eileen is over reacting and what he is doing is not affecting the animals.
