Efforts are underway again in Fenit to help guide a dolphin to deeper water.
Last night, Fenit Lifeboat along with local boats guided the marine mammal out of shallow water near the pier into deeper depths.
It followed consultation with the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group; by coincidence a member of the group was in Fenit at the time.

PRO for the Fenit RNLI, Jackie Murphy says the dolphin turned up again this morning and the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group have taken over the operation.
