Irish language survey to take place in Tralee

An Irish language lobby group is to undertake a series of surveys on the language in the Tralee area. The aim is to assess the level of Irish in use in shops and business in the town. A follow up survey will be undertaken later in the year to see if the situation has improved. The initiave is being undertaken by Ciarrai Beo and will also look at the provision of Irish language signage.
