Ireland Unseeded For Euro 2016 Play-Offs Draw

Euro 2016The Republic of Ireland will be unseeded for this Sunday’s draw for the Euro 2016 play-offs. Martin O’Neill’s side will now go-up against either Sweden, The Ukraine, Hungary or Bosnia-Herzegovina following last nights results from the final round of qualifiers. The biggest surprise of the night was in Group A, where the Netherlands missed-out on qualification after a 3-2 defeat at home to the Czech Republic. Elsewhere, Wales finished-off their successful campaign with a 2-0 win at home to Andorra. Meanwhile, Ireland’s Under-21’s suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Italy in their Euro 2017 qualifier in Vicenza. Kerry’s Brendan Moloney is edging ever closer to a first team return at Northampton Town. Moloney is yet to play this season, having been sidelined after undergoing knee surgery. The club has confirmed that he came through a 90 minute internal practice match yesterday.
