Ireland South MEP says COVID-19 testing in Irish airports will save airline and hospitality jobs


An Ireland South MEP says testing for COVID-19 in Irish airports will save jobs in the airline and hospitality industries.

Fianna Fáil MEP Billy Kelleher made the statement.

He was speaking as the Government confirmed it will adopt the European Commission’s proposed new traffic light system for foreign travel.

At the moment, anyone coming into the country from a non-green list country must self-isolate for 14 days.
