Ireland manager Martin O’Neill isn’t ruling Seamus Coleman out of Thursday’s Euro 2016 qualifier with Germany – just yet. The full-back has missed Everton’s recent matches with a hamstring injury, but he spent today working with the Irish medical staff to try and recover in time for Thursday’s match. Fellow defender Cyrus Christie also skipped training today with a groin injury but O’Neill says that he should be fit for the game if needed. In the absence of the suspended Glenn Whelan, the Ireland boss has been asked if he’s considering Darron Gibson as a potential replacement [audio_player src=”http://media.radiokerry.ie/mediamanager/embed/audio/46590/medium/”]
