Injury Update Ahead Of Weekend’s County Football Championship Quarter-Finals

The countdown continues towards a bumper weekend 1/4 final action in the Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship.

Austin Stacks face Dingle at 6pm on Saturday in Austin Stack Park to be followed by the meeting of Kerins O’Rahillys and St Brendan’s at 7.45pm.

O’Rahillys came back from 10 points down beat holders Dr Crokes in their Round 2A match three weeks ago.

Selector and club PRO Pat Flavin says he only has one injury concern.

St Brendan’s have racked up a hefty number of goals while taking the scenic route to Saturday’s quarter final.

Selector Ger Carmody says a few key players are in a race against time to be fit for the game against Kerins O’Rahillys.

On Sunday, Dr Crokes will take on local rivals Killarney Legion at 2pm in Fitzgerald Stadium.

The semi-final line-up will be completed when East Kerry take on South Kerry in Sunday’s second game at 3.45pm.

East Kerry will be without a few key players for their Garvey’s Supervalu County Senior Football Championship quarter-final against South Kerry.

East Kerry Manager Jerry O’Sullivan says divisional sides such as South Kerry have performed well in the competition in recent years.

He hopes some of his own panel will recover from knocks in time for the game.

Some of the South Kerry players are in a race against time to overcome some injuries to play against East Kerry.
