IFA Poultry Committee protest at Kerry Foods over labelling

The IFA Poultry Committee will hold a demonstration at Kerry Foods today over labelling on its Denny brand chicken.

The labelling issue came to light earlier this week after food writer Katy McGuinness contacted the company about the origin of the chicken.

The protest will take place at 12.30pm at Kerry Foods.

The group are calling for country-of-origin of the primary source of meat used in prepared foods to be clearly stated on the packaging of Kerry Food products and its subsidiary brands.
