IFA members insist they are not covered by Court Injunction

IFA members are claiming they entered The Bank Of Ireland in Killarney yesterday as individuals and are not covered by a High Court injunction. The bank secured an injunction preventing the IFA from picketing, trespassing and creating a nuisance at any branch of the bank. Around 100 farmers picketed the bank yesterday and entered the premises looking for change. At least one farmer presented a cheque from the former Tralee Beef And Lamb plant looking for it to be cashed. One of the protesters Richard Hartnett claims they will continue their action as they are not covered by the injunction.
