IBAL calls for fines to promote upkeep of business premises

The Chairman of IBAL has called on business in the county to be fined for failing to keep their surrounding premises up to standard. The scenic Ross Road in Killarney is listed as having a lazy attitude towards general maintainace in the annual litter survey. It`s the first time the South Kerry town has been included in the league table produced by Irish business against litter. Meanwhile the Clash Industrial Estate in Tralee has also been cited as having a large scale dumping problem. Dr Tom Cavanagh says tourism towns like Killarney have no choice but to clean up.
