Hundreds protesting at Clerys in Dublin

Hundreds of people are protesting at Clerys in Dublin to support the 130 laid-off staff and over 300 concession workers who face uncertain futures. Clerys Liquidators at the department store have told unions there are no funds left to cover redundancies – with the full cost to be footed by the State. Workers with decades of experience say they’ve been destroyed and treated like dirt by the store’s previous owners. These former staff say they’re heartbroken.
