HSE is criticised for lack of wheellchair accessability in Listowel

A Town Councillor has launched an attack in the HSE southern area over their failure to make all of their buildings in Listowel wheelchair friendly. Jackie Barrett says it`s a disgrace that the disabled are unable to use some of the facilities at their premises on the hospital grounds as there is no wheelchair toilet and only one entrance to the premises. The Fine Gael Councillor is also concerned that there is a disused building on Charles Street which is owned by the HSE and has been vacant for 7 years. Councillor Barrett wants an assessment carried out of all their buildings in the town.
