HSE express confidence in new patient record system

The HSE say they are confident their new patient record system that`s already operational in Kerry General represents very good value for money. The 56 million euro Isoft system was made in India specifically for the British National Health System. The Executive have come under fire for not sending anyone to India to ensure the system would suit the needs of the Irish health service. It follows the Governments spending of 116 million euro on the P- Pars payroll system, which was originally meant to cost 9 million.
