It’s hoped the tender for an East Kerry sewerage scheme will be published in the coming weeks.
The Kilcummin Sewerage Scheme development includes a new pumping station, a below ground peak flow holding tank, and an access road from the back of the Páirc Chuimín estate in Kilcummin.
A meeting of the Killarney Municipal District was previously told Irish Water plans on commencing construction on the €2.7 million-euro project later in 2019.

Kerry County Council says negotiations are continuing with a small number of landowners and, pending the conclusion of the talks, Irish Water hopes to invite tenders for the sewerage scheme early this year.
