Hopes new Tralee IDA building will attract pharma, medtech, or engineering investment

IDA Ireland is hoping to attract a pharmaceutical, medical technology, or engineering business into its Advance Technology Building in Tralee.

That’s according to the CEO of IDA Ireland, Abbeydorney native Martin Shanahan who was speaking on a visit to the county.

The development of the Advance Technology Building at Kerry Technology Park began last August, and is expected to be completed in the coming weeks.

The IDA says the availability of this type of high-quality property is key to winning Foreign Direct Investment.

Martin Shanahan says they’re marketing the facility all over the world.
