Homeowners in Kerry may be eligible for the Voluntary Homeowners Relocation Scheme.
The scheme was set up to aid primary residential properties that were flooded during, or as a result of, the flooding event between 4th December, 2015 and 13th January, 2016.
The Office of Public Works, which administers the scheme, says a total of 147 homes have come under consideration for the scheme.
54 homes nationally were deemed to be ineligible for the scheme following an initial review; 43 homes are currently being investigated by the Local Authorities for potential remedial works; and the OPW is awaiting further information from 8 homeowners.
The OPW has met with 42 homeowners, following the initial assessment to discuss the details of the scheme; of the 42 homes in question, 36 have qualified for further consideration under the scheme.
The OPW cannot give a county breakdown of the scheme, as homeowners could be identified due to the relatively small number of applicants.
