Heritage Week begins in Kerry

Today sees the beginning of heritage week in the county. A number of events are being held throughout Kerry to celebrate the counties history. Heritage week aims to raise the profile of history and archaeology by making it accessible to the general public. A series of lectures, tours and information will be provided by local experts and guides for events in the coming week.
