Kerry County Council have advised against swimming at White Strand in Caherciveen.
The bathing advisory for White Strand was introduced following heavy rainfall.
Prior-warning notices are also in place at several other beaches around the county.
Prior-warning notices are not bathing prohibitions, but are issued to advise the public that bathing water quality may be affected by weather conditions.
Kerry County Council issued the notices at Ballybunion North, Ballybunion South, Ballyheigue, Banna, Castlegregory, Maharabeg, Ventry, Kells, Cuas Crom, and Ballinskelligs beaches.
Weather conditions already led to the introduction of bathing prohibitions at Fenit Beach; Fenit Diving Boards, Inny Strand in Waterville, and Waterville Town Beach earlier this week.
These prohibitions remain in place, but Kerry County Council says it will be re-sampling these locations over the coming days and will review the situation on an on-going basis.
