Hearings take place on Constitution of family rights

The Kerry Life and Family Association believe the Constitution on the rights of the family should remain as it is. An Oireachtas Committee is holding a series of hearings on the constitution which was drawn up in 1937. Denis O Connor is Chairman of the Kerry Life and Family Association.He says the only family that should be recognised by the state is the marriage between a man and woman. However family lawyer Miriam mcgillycuddy says the Constitution should reflect today`s society.
