The bronze bust by Dublin sculptor Nicola Kyle has been completed and will be set in a limestone plinth designed by Michael McTigue from Co Clare. It will be formally unveiled by a fishermen’s representative to coincide with Dingle Regatta, an event that has been associated with Mr Haughey for many years.Representatives of the Haughey family, including Charles Haughey himself, have been invited to attend, but it’s not yet known what members of the family will be present.
