Group of women march in Waterville in solidarity with Women’s March on Washington

A group of women in Waterville are hosting a march today in solidarity with the Women’s March on Washington.
The event takes place at 12 noon beginning at the Charlie Chaplin Statue.
Meanwhile at about 3pm Irish time today 200,000 people are expected to gather in protest at the base of Capitol Hill for the Women’s March on Washington.
Many are taking part in the event to promote women’s rights in the wake of the US election result.
