Group operating Gleneagle Hotel and INEC record profit of over €1m for 2015

The group operating Killarney’s INEC and The Gleneagle Hotel has recorded an operating profit of over €1.05m in 2015 when revenues rose by six per cent to €24.8m.

Gleneagle Holdings filed new accounts showing it maintained its level of operating profit in 2015, the Irish Independent and Irish Examiner report.

However, an exceptional cost of €384,000, relating to the write-off of debt owed to the company by connected firms and interest payments totalling €934,105, resulted in a pre-tax loss of €267,425. The numbers employed by the group in 2015 rose from 382 to 409.
