Griffin asks officials to meet with Irish Ferries over plans to scrap route

Department of Transport officials are to meet with Irish Ferries over plans to scrap a ferry service in the South East.

The company’s confirmed it’s unlikely to run a service between Rosslare and France next year.

Junior Transport Minister and Kerry TD Brendan Griffin says the route is important for tourism to and from Ireland.
