Government holds events to mark end of bailout programme

Euro coins   The Government is holding a number of events today marking the end of the bailout. Ireland will officially leave the Troika programme on Sunday – and the world’s media has descended on Dublin ahead of the exit. Since 2010 we’ve borrowed 67 billion euro for international lenders – which won’t be fully paid back for almost thirty years.
