Gardaí seek witnesses after teenage girl is injured in hit-and-run in Tralee

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a hit and run in Tralee, in which a female driver drove off after knocking down a teenage girl.

The 13-year-old and her younger friend were crossing the road at the roundabout at Clash in Tralee on the afternoon of June 8th last, when the jeep struck them.

The older of the two girls sustained a broken arm in the incident, but the younger child was uninjured.

Gardaí are appealing to the driver to come forward, and to anyone who witnessed the collision to contact Tralee Garda Station.
