Gardaí have revealed a missing Ballybunion man was last seen in a Tralee estate.
Willie Mulvihill was last seen on August 21st, 2016 in Ballybeggan after calling to a house in the estate.
Mr Mulvihill, who was 54, had left University Hospital Kerry where he was receiving treatment.
Gardaí say he was disoriented at the time and believe he was trying to make his way home.
Extensive searches were carried out at the time but no trace of Mr Mulvihill was ever found.
Today marks two years since the Ballybunion man was last seen and investigating Gardai have renewed their appeal for information surrounding his disappearance.
Investigating Gardaí says such a disappearance is a rare occurrence in Kerry.
This week, Mr Mulvihill’s nieces told Talkabout that they are convinced that someone is withholding vital information on his disappearance.
Sergeant James O’Donnell says the family are seeking answers.
