Gardaí describe pair in suspicious approach to children near Tralee school

Gardaí in Tralee are continuing to investigate a suspected suspicious approach to two children near a primary school in the town. Tralee Garda Station The incident occurred last Friday afternoon and has prompted two primary schools in the area to write to parents advising them and their children to be vigilant. CCTV footage from the area has being examined by gardai. Radio Kerry News understands that the incident occurred between 2.40pm and 2.45pm on Friday last near Holy Family School in Balloonagh. A man and a woman in a black 2 door Renault Megane are said to have approached two children. The public are been asked to contact Gardaí at Tralee on 066 710 2300 if they have any information. Inspector Donal Ashe of Tralee Garda Station says they have a description of the pair in question. A man described as ‘Irish, shaved head and may be roughly in his forties..’ and a woman who accompanied the man in the passenger seat of the car ‘a bit older than the man, with ginger/fairish hair’ [audio_player src=””]
