Future uncertain for Victim Support as Chairperson resigns

The Chairperson of Victim Support in Ireland says she does not know what the future holds for the organisation. In a dramatic move Tralee native Mairead Fernane and 10 other members of the 16 member board have resigned including its founder Derek Nally. An internal row broke out over the future direction of the organisation. Mairead Fernane says she saw her role as peace maker and efforts were made to resolve the dispute. She says she is particularly upset for Kerry branches of the organisation.
