Fundraiser ‘furious’ after Tralee defibrillator out of action following weekend vandalism

The sister of a woman who suffered a heart attack in Tralee earlier this year, says she’s ‘furious’ with whomever vandalised a defibrillator in the town centre at the weekend.

Audrey Moran raised thousands of Euro to buy four defibrillators for the town, after her sister Therese suffered a massive heart attack while shopping in the town centre.

One of the life-saving devices – located at The Mall – is now out of action, after vandals broke the glass case surrounding it, some time between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to get in touch with them.
