Former NASA astronaut now the proud owner of Kerry GAA jersey

Former NASA astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, who became the second person to walk on the moon in 1969, is now the proud owner of a Kerry GAA jersey. Former NASA astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, who became the second person to walk on the moon in 1969 after Neil Armstrong, receives a special gift of a Kerry GAA jersey from Sean Kelly MEP in Brussels, ahead of a major EU science conference which Mr Kelly is hosting. He received the special gift from Kerry MEP Sean Kelly, who is hosting the biggest ever EU science conference in Brussels. The five-day conference, ‘EU Science: Global Challenges, Global Collaboration’, runs this week. In welcoming Buzz Aldrin to the parliament, MEP Sean Kelly presented him with a special gift of a Kerry GAA jersey. The Taoiseach Enda Kenny will provide the closing remarks of the conference on Thursday.
