Former Kerry Player To Make Connaught Championship Debut For Roscommon

Former Kerry forward Conor Cox will make his Connacht Championship debut for Roscommon this weekend.

He’s been included in Anthony Cunningham’s side for Sunday’s quarter final with Leitrim.

Only David Murray and Tadhg O’Rourke are retained from Roscommon’s last Championship outing which was in the 2018 Super 8’s against Dublin.

Leitrim manager Terry Hyland has handed out four Championship debuts for Sunday’s game at Dr. Hyde Park.

Fergal McTague and Conor Reynolds will start in the full-back line, while into the forwards come Pearce Dolan and Evan Sweeney.
