A flying doctor service is being launched in Kerry.
The Irish Community Air Ambulance (ICAA) is launching the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in Fitzgerald Stadium, Killarney tomorrow morning.
This service was announced last November and the Kerry event is part of a series of landings to showcase the service.
ICAA says this is a vital life-saving air support service, which is operated by the charity Irish Community Rapid Response, for the south of Ireland.
The helicopter is described as a mobile intensive care unit which is staffed by a team of highly qualified and specially trained trauma doctors.
The helicopter will begin its service this summer and will work alongside existing emergency response services.
