The final of the Kerry County Council Annual Student Enterprise Awards is taking place today (Friday).
Over 30 mini-companies, set up by Kerry second level students, will take part in the event at IT Tralee.
The projects include magazines, handmade chocolates, and farming equipment.
The competition promotes innovation, idea development, business structure, sourcing of finance, marketing and sales, and the presentation of a formal business plan.
Prizes will be awarded at junior, intermediate and senior level, and the winners will go forward to the national finals in Croke Park on the 3rd of May.
