Film competition launched in honour of Donal Walsh

A national film competition has been launched in honour of Donal Walsh. livelife Donal People of all ages are encouraged to make any type of film they wish, with Donal’s message “Live Life” as the theme. The Creative Media Department at the Institute of Technology Tralee is behind the competiton held in honour of the Blennerville teenager. Before his death last May, the 16 year old campaigned against youth suicide and raised thousands of euro for Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin.Celebrity judges and TV personalities will present the best entries with digital media prizes at a ceremony on “Live Life Love Day” on the 14th of February next year at the Institute of Technology Tralee.
