Fianna Fail meets with New County Manager

Fianna Fail are meeting with the new County Manager this lunch time. Among the issues to be discussed is the party`s disatisfaction with the current planning process. The party is expected to tell Martin Riordan that they will be seeking his help in achieving a level playing field for local people looking for planning permission.Party Whip Paul O Donohue says the party feels far too many people are refused planning permission. Fianna Fail have entered into a technical arrangement with Sinn Fein and took a decision to have a moratorium on all section 140 motions for the first 6 months of their council term. That is due to be lifted in December.
