Fianna Fáil have added a second candidate to their General Election ticket in Kerry.
Cllr Norma Moriarty will run along side Deputy John Brassil for the party.
She contested the 2016 general election for Fiann Fáil getting more than 4,348 first preferences.
The Waterville woman who teaches in Kenmare was first elected to the council in 2014.
Fianna Fáil interviewed a number of candidates in Kerry looking to be added to the party ticket in recent months.
Radio Kerry understands that the party is keeping its options open on running a third candidate.
