Fexco has confirmed a deal with Aer Lingus will be ending this year.
This will affect 50 staff based in Cahersiveen and Killorglin.
The company, whose headquarters are in Killorglin, says it will try to find other work for these employees.
In a statement to Radio Kerry News, Fexco has confirmed the contract to provide outsourcing services to Aer Lingus is coming to an end in August.
This provides employment for 50 staff at Fexco’s Cahersiveen and Killorglin locations; Fexco says it’ll try to redeploy relevant staff across the organisation.
It adds that due to the nature of the existing client relationship with Aer Lingus, and for reasons around commercial sensitivity, it can’t comment further.
The company says it continues to deliver outsourcing solutions to a number of clients from their Cahersiveen and Killorglin locations, providing 600 jobs.
Fexco adds it’s currently recruiting for 35 roles in their outsourcing division, with plans to recruit an additional 35 staff over the coming months.
