Farrenfore doctor takes over as Chairman of the Irish College of General Practitioners

Farranfore doctor Eamonn Shanahan has taken over as Chairman of the Irish college of General Practitioners. Dr Shanahan took over the role at the annual meting of GPs in the country for a three year term. He will represent 2,600 doctors nationally, 70 of whom are based in Kerry. Dr Shanahan says he will also be an advocate for patients.
