Family hotels affected by Ministers legislation.

Family hotels in the county are being badly affected by legislation which bans children from pubs after 9 o’clock. That’s according to Frank Corr, editor of ‘Hotel and Catering Magazine’ who says that families are now more likely to holiday abroad than at home.Mr. Corr said that the Minister Mc Dowell has agreed to consider the concerns of hoteliers when he next amends the licensing laws but feels that this may be too late for many small hotels. He said that even pushing the ban back to 10 o’clock in the evening would be a positive measure.
